The Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, and his whole delegation have now been pushed to extend their stay in India, New Delhi for the G20 Summit. This happened as his aircraft had broken down, the official of Canada confirmed.
Trudeau has arrived in the country of India for the meeting of the world leaders at the G20 Summit. The summit is going to be a meetup of the twenty world-leading economies. After the end of which he was supposed to return back home on Sunday. But he couldn’t due to the mechanical fault that his aircraft experienced, leading him to extend his stay for another day.
The High Commission (Canadian) which is in New Delhi has now referred AFP for a statement from the office of Trudeau stating that the Air Force of Canada that operates the plane has already informed the delegation about the aircraft experiencing some sort of mechanical faults.
They also added further to their statement that:
“These issues are not fixable overnight, our delegation will be staying in India until alternative arrangements are made”.
