Disbursements Of MFI-NBFC To Increase By 45.8% In Quarter One Of FY24

The AUM (Assets Under Management) has grown up to a total sum of Rs 1,26,053 Cr, for the month of June, this year. This change took place where earlier the amount was at Rs 89,005 Cr, about a year prior. As of the end of the month of March, the sum stood at Rs 1,21,326 Cr. 

The hike in disbursements can be observed in the context of a slowed-down activity for the months of April to June, year: 2022. This was the time when the lenders were actually in the middle of committing to the organization of their operations of the RBI (Reserve Bank Of India). 


The loans were disbursed through 6.89 Mn accounts for quarter one of the financial year 2024. The total comes up to 5.1Mn accounts a year prior. 

In sequence, the total number of accounts by which the loans got disbursed declined in comparison to the 9.5Mn acc.s of Quarter four of the financial year 2023.
