Novak Djokovic usually shares the story of his childhood dream of childhood very often. Ever since he was 7 years old, he dreamed of winning Wimbledon. Little did he know that in the future he is going to do all that and even more!
He won his career’s 4th trophy for the US Open on Sunday. He defeated his opponent Daniil Medvedev. Novak now owns about twenty-four Slam-crowns. He is not done as of yet, he continues getting more and more powerful every match.
Novak said,
“To be honest with you, I was probably not thinking so intensely and concretely about the history of the weeks at No. 1 or most Slams until maybe three years ago. Then I realised, ‘Okay, I’m quite close for weeks in No. 1. I also have a pretty good chance at the Grand Slams if I keep healthy and if I’m playing well.’ Of course the Slams at that point seemed a little bit less reachable than weeks of No. 1, but I believed. I believed that I’ll make it.
Novak Djokovic, till now has won a whopping record of twelve majors, and 7 of the previous Grand Slam tournaments.
